First aid training courses
We teach life-saving skills so you can give first aid to someone who needs emergency care until medical help arrives.
These include:
- CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) (HLTAID009)
- first aid (including CPR) (HLTAID011)
- advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy (HLTAID015)
- basic emergency life support (HLTAID010)
- advanced first aid (HLTAID014)
- first aid in education and care settings (HLTAID012)
- first aid in remote or isolated areas (HLTAID013)
- pain management (PUAEME008).
These are accredited training courses, which means you will get a certificate when you have completed the training.
For group bookings, we deliver courses at your workplace or venue. We can also customise training to suit your circumstances. For example, how to use a defibrillator, snake bites, burns or allergies.
The Queensland Ambulance Service is a Registered Training Organisation - RTO code: 5285.
