University Undergraduate Clinical Placements
The Queensland Ambulance Service is committed in providing Clinical Placement opportunities for university undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a Bachelor Degree of Paramedical Health Science, or similar, with any one of the partnering Universities from across the state.
- Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Kelvin Grove Campus
- University of Sunshine Coast (USC), Sunshine Coast Campus
- Australian Catholic University (ACU), Banyo Campus
- Central Queensland University (CQU), Rockhampton Campus
- University of Queensland (UQ), Ipswich Campus – Commencing 2012
As part of these Bachelor Degree studies, students are required to complete a set number of weeks clinical placement with the QAS to consolidate their skills and studies which they have acquired.
Prior to being able to undertake Clinical Placement with the QAS, the sponsor University must ensure that their students meet all of the mandatory requirements set out by QAS, at no cost to, and to the satisfaction of, the Queensland Ambulance Service.
For questions relating to Clinical Placements, please contact 3635 3710 or email qas.clinicalplacements@dcs.qld.gov.au.
