Course Description:	This course prepares you to respond to emergency situations by providing you with the skills and knowledge in first aid treatment.

Course Content	responding to and managing an unconscious casualty performing CPR communicating details of the incident respiratory and cardiac emergencies bleeding and shock acute medical emergencies musculoskeletal injuries traumatic injuries to the head, spine, chest, abdomen and pelvis poisons, bites and stings. Extremes of temperature

Course Description:	This course provides you with the skills and knowledge to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in an emergency situation.

Course Description:	If you are working in the electrical industry, this refresher course will provide you with the knowledge in low voltage rescue as well as resuscitation skills in the event of an electrocution incident.

Course Description:	This course prepares you to recognise and respond to life threatening emergencies using basic life support treatment.

Course Description:	This course provides you with the skills and knowledge to manage an anaphylactic (allergic) emergency, undertake risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
Course Options	Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis - 3 Hours face to face
Course Content	Assess the situation (for anaphylaxis) Provide appropriate treatment for anaphylactic reaction Identify individuals at risk of allergic reactions and anaphylaxis Develop individual anaphylaxis management plans Implement strategies to prevent allergic and anaphylactic reactions Communicate with stakeholders in relation to incidents and raising awareness of allergic and anaphylactic reactions

Course Description:	This course provides you with the essential knowledge and practical skills to apply first aid and manage casualties in remote situations where arrival of medical assistance may be delayed.
Course Options	Provide First Aid in a Remote Situation - 1 Day face to face
Course Content	responding to an emergency in a remote situation provide first aid in a remote situation work in conjunction with medical personnel and emergency services support evaluate the incident
Recommended Recertification Period	Provide First Aid in a Remote Situation - 3 Years
Pre-requisites	Current Apply First Aid with Perform CPR

Course Description:	This course prepares you to provide advanced resuscitation techniques and incorporates the use of automatic external defibrillators and advanced oxygen equipment.
Course Options	Apply Advanced Resuscitation Techniques - 1 Day
Course Content	legal requirements assessing the situation use of advanced resuscitation equipment use of automatic external defibrillators safe manual handling communicating and evaluating an emergency incident
Duration	8 hours in class + completion of pre-course workbook
Recommended Recertification Period	Apply Advanced Resuscitation Techniques - 12 months
Pre-requisites	Apply First Aid certificate with current Perform CPR competency

Course Description:	This course builds on the Apply First Aid course to include advanced first aid skills and the use of a range of life saving equipment.
