Planning ahead
With a new baby on the way, chances are you will have plenty of things to organize. To ensure that your new baby is traveling safely, let Queensland Ambulance Service organize your baby capsule fitting.
Baby capsules can be installed approximately two weeks prior to the due date; however fitting appointments will need to be arranged 4 – 6 weeks ahead.
Your capsule
Queensland Ambulance hire the Safe-N-Sound Baby Safety Capsule Infant Restraint. This restraint is for babies up to 9kg in weight and 700mm in length – approximately 0 to 6 months.
The Safe-N-Sound Baby Capsule is generally recognized as one of the safest restraints on the market. The traveling convenience of carrying your baby in a bassinet – to and from the car, means your baby travels peacefully and undisturbed to your destination.
Hiring a QAS Baby Capsule is a safe, convenient and economical alternative while your baby is required to travel in the rear facing position. When it is time for your baby to travel – forward facing at approximately 6 months old, you have the opportunity to research and assess the best forward facing restraint for your child.
